Hello, I am Jessica, owner of Cubz Play Cafe. I am a mother to two incredibly loving boys. As young as I can recall, I’ve had a natural love and connection for children. HOWEVER, i took on many different careers BEFORE opening up cubz. I grew up in Prince Edward Island and graduated from hotel & restaurant management in 2012. that spring, my husband (boyfriend at the time) took a risk by moving out to Jasper, to stay for a summer. Like other jasper residents, we got sucked into living a life in the mountains. Living life in the mountains means working many jobs, you may see me in and around jasper working at the local daycare or for the evergreens foundation. After years of hard work and career changes, we were finally able to put our vision to REALITY.in 2016, it was here, the beginning of motherhood, where I noticed an immediate demand and lack of indoor places for children. most importantly, a lack of places for parents to socialize with other parents. Because we all know going to a coffee shop with our "mom friends" and children is not relaxing, it's insane! That is when my husband and I created a business plan to COMBINE a coffee shop and play space together. of course, It would also become our children’s dream playroom.My vision was to build a space where children could gather, learn, and grow. A vision where parents can sip coffee and HAPPILY watch their children play.
